This is the home of FICS TeamLeague. We organize slow time-control chess tournaments on the Free Internet Chess Server. Games are played by individuals, who compete for results as part of a team. We try to provide a fun and friendly atmosphere. Our channel on FICS is 101.

T53 Registration+
Registration for T53 is open! Teams must be submitted by 1900 server time, Thursday, January 17, 2013.
Two teams have been approved! Sections will be established later.
Round 1 pairings will be up Tuesday, January 22.
Some changes to note:
- Team pairings will be done randomly prior to T53 start, within the usual round robin format.
- Time offers of a 3 hour (or more) block (such as 1200-1500) will count as two time offers.
Players new to TL should comsider reading the players handbook to review key procedures and protocals (http://www.teamleague.org/LightNEasy.php?page=handbook); We will be updating those pages...someday.
For those captains new to TL, yoiu can submit a team with players who have played at least 20 standard rated games at http://www.teamleague.org/LightNEasy.php?page=teamsubmit. Yes, captains need to submit an email address.
