FICS is experiencing some technical problems due to a hard disk failure. The website at http://www.freechess.org is not available, which means that players who normally use the Jin applet to connect will need to use a different interface.

Otherwise, the problems should not affect TeamLeague. We plan to continue with TeamLeague as usual, so please continue to schedule and play your games. Contact your captain or TD if you have any problems connecting to FICS. For those who prefer to use the Jin applet, FICS admins will fix the problem as soon as possible, but until further notice you should plan to use a different client, and you are still responsible for playing your games.

Addendum: Players in the Polgar section, do not panic that you weren't paired this round. In order for your section to run more evenly with the schedule of the other sections, there are no round 4 games in Polgar. Play will recommence in round 5, next week.
