T49 Begins!

Round 1 has now commenced! New players are advised to read the Player's Handbook, found under Documents, above. Most importantly, remember to 1) set your password, using the command "tell teamleague set password"; 2) start all teamleague games with the command "tell teamleague play"; and 3) use the game forum for negotiating a time with your opponent. The First Contact Deadline is Thursday 19:00, and the Contact or Forfeit Deadline is Friday 19:00. These times are FICS server time (PST), and all negotiations should be made in server time. To check server time, use the "date" command on FICS. Players must offer at least 3 distinct times, and these offers must be over at least 2 different days.

Captains may still add players, subject to the rating caps for each section (these are shown on the Teams page; as the highest section, Fischer has no rating cap). A request to add players should be sent to the Teamleague account on FICS, and must be received by Monday 19:00 to have effect for the coming round. Adding players is possible up to the end of round 5.
