It appears that FICS is experiencing some security issues, due to the possible compromise of an administrator account.  I have taken the TeamLeague bot offline as a precaution. It is unclear whether the start of TeamLeague will need to be delayed, but feel free to continue submitting teams through the website.

This seems like a good time to remind all players that you should never reuse passwords from TeamLeague or FICS on other sites where security is critical, such as email or banking.

Update: According to www.ficsgames.org, "To prevent further damage FICS was shut down and will be offline until further notice."
